Sal Anelli immigrated to the United States from Palermo Italy with his family in 1960. Grew up in Brooklyn NY and attended the local public schools. Sal began his carrier in the electrical industry while attending W.E. Grady Voc. & Tech. High school by working on weekends and after school with a local electrical contractor. Upon graduation, Sal began working full time in the industry and in 1975 he became a N.Y.C. Master electrician, allowing him and Frank LaGrega to form Inner City Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Frank LaGrega grew up in Brooklyn NY, the only son of Joseph and Charlotte LaGrega. Upon graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School he began his carrier in the electrical field. In the early seventies he started working for a midsized electrical contractor where he mastered all facets of the industry with hands on experience.. Being a fast learner, he rose from apprentice to journeyman to foreman in a very short time span. In 1976, Frank became a N.Y.C. Master electrician and joined Sal Anelli and formed Inner City Electrical Contractors, Inc. Frank has three sons all involved in the industry. Inner City Electric Brief Summary Inner City Electrical Contractors, Inc. was formed in 1976 by Sal Anelli & Frank LaGrega, both Licensed Master Electricians. This was a dream that they had talked about since their early days working together for another electrical contractor. Inner City Electrical Contractors was conceived with a premise that hard work, determination and a commitment to excellence at all costs would be the keys to success, and since 1976, Sal & Frank have remained true to that premise. To date, Inner City Electric has completed thousands of projects for many of New York City’s most well known companies and institutions continuing to be obsessive with enhancing the performance of Inner City Electric. Our commitment to customer satisfaction has been a standard on every project undertaken no matter how small or large. This is evidence by the fact that a majority of their clients have been with them for 25 years or more, some since 1976. We believe that one of the biggest keys to our success has been the people that work at Inner City Electric. Our management staff, superintendent, project managers, estimating department, key field personnel and foremen have all been with us for numerous years; and some from the very beginning.
